#290 RUBY ( Novo Scotia Duck-Tolling Retriever) Columbus, OH - San Jose, CA RUBY #290 a female 6.6 y/o 25# Novo Scotia Duck-Tolling Retriever lost her master, Wesley, about three years ago in Iraq. Since then she had been taken care of by her master’s family in OH. However, she and two other dogs were kept together and she wasn’t liked by them. Brian, the uncle, decided Ruby would be the perfect companion for his two children. In stepped Team Drivers Mike & Cindy G, who decided to take her as their first transport with Operation Roger. Little did they know that transport would put them, Brian, and Ruby on the front cover and the main subjects of a story in a major trucking magazine, the Truckers Connection, in November.\ Picked up from Jody, the mother of Wesley, in Columbus, Ruby wasn’t sure of the big truck at first but soon warmed up to it all. She even tolerated their two cats quite well. When she arrived at the meeting point near San Jose, Ruby remembered Brian and was very happy to see him.
