#301 ZEUS (Pit Bull) Reno, NV - Cheyenne, WY
ZEUS #301 a 60# 2 yr male Pit Bull was picked up in Reno from Marc, Nevada HS. Although the actual destination for Zeus was the Denver area, Zeus’ new Dad, Roger, met them in Cheyenne, WY, because he thought it would be better. While we do want the actual city listed on the application, and Zeus could have missed a ride with a driver going through Denver and not Cheyenne, it worked out this time.
While we were warned Zeus gets very hyper in vehicles, Steve didn’t find him to be so. In fact, he didn't want to let Zeus go. Steve calling his Team Supervisor Kathy Y asking "Do I have to give him up." Steve said it gave him a good feeling to help Zeus. Steve reported the Reno HS very pleasant to work with, which, frankly, is a pleasant surprise. It seems the people with most Humane Societies around the country are just the opposite.
