#112 JOHN (Dachshund/Basset/Rott) Roanoke, TN - Goshen, NY
JOHN #112, a 10 month old, 31 pound, male Dachshund/Basset/Rottweiler mix is one of six pups picked up in Roanoke, AL, by Operation Roger team drivers Hollis and Linda C in their own vehicle. The team took the six to Gadsen, AL, where they met another Operation Roger driver, Tony H who, also in his own vehicle, took them to the TN state line where he met with Mary Ruth R, who in turn took them to her layover home in Columbia, TN.
While with Mary Ruth, John proved to be an adept escape artist. It seemed no matter what she did, Mary Ruth would return to find John missing from the enclosure. He was always around and easy to find but an escapee nevertheless. Team drivers Gary and Pat L met John and Mary Ruth R in Nashville, TN.
Pat reports John was a pill, smart, sharp, hyper, nosey, and quite. He quickly found where Pat kept the treats and worked diligently to get to them. John was delivered to his new "Mom," a 13 year old young lady and her mother, Eileen A in Goshen, NY. Pat said John went directly to the young girl and never left her side. There is no doubt John will have a good home.
