Welcome to Operation Roger... Truckers Pet Transport!

LAYOVER HOMES       PuppyLove

Even if you don't drive a semi-truck, you can still be a part of

Operation Roger... Truckers Pet Transport!

Operation Roger has need of Layover Homes. This is a temporary home, like a Foster Home, where a pet can spend a few days or much longer if necessary, waiting on another driver for the next part of the journey.

The need is nationwide.  Help us develop a network for the common purpose of helping a pet get across country safely and as quickly as possible.  Whether you are a current Foster for a Rescue or someone who just wants to help for a much shorter time, you are needed.

We apologize for the length of the Layover Home Application, the questions were was taken from a standard Foster application used by a credible rescue, but we do need to know as much as possible about you in order to properly protect those pets who are entrusted to us but need your help.

A Layover Home will be presumed able to transport the pet to / from a driver to / from their home unless we are notified otherwise.

SHUTTLE DRIVERS

(4-Wheel Transports - Personal Vehicles)

NOT TO BE USED BY TRUCK DRIVERS

YOU HAVE ANOTHER APPLICATION LISTED UNDER APPLICATIONS

Can't serve as a Layover Home?  No problem.

We also need Shuttle Drivers who could drive pets on shorter "sprints" such as from a city of origin to a truck stop where the trucker transporting the pet to his new home could be met. Or, it could mean taking a pet from the trucker to it's new home! The third type transport need would be to / from a Layover Home. These are individuals who cannot serve as a Layover Home but can help transport in their own personal vehicles.

HOW

We STRONGLY urged you to read the Home Page thoroughly to learn who we are and how we work.  This should answer 99.9% of your questions.  Then when you are ready....
1) Get registered. On the menu bar go over to Registration / Log In and Register.
2) The system will send you a temporary password.  BUT, do NOT change it immediately as the system has a way of possibly locking you out for 2 hours or even much more.  Wait until you have filled out and submitted the application first.  The temporary password may be in your email soon or it could take awhile.  If you don't get it, follow the instructions on the Log In page.
3) Copy and Paste the temporary password back into Log In.
4) Once you are logged in, go to the Application button and HOVER your cursor over it.  A drop down box will appear.
5) Choose the application you wish.

 NOTE:

If you have not received an acknowledgement email from Operation Roger within 3-4 days of submitting your application, allowing for weekends and holidays, please call 682-622-1172 ... or... send an email to operationroger01@yahoo.com ... or ... support@operationroger.com.  If the phone is not answered, I may be talking on it, out of range, away from my desk, etc.  Leave a message.  No message...No return call. A text is the best way to reach me.

If the application is not completed, or has been sent via your phone or tablet, there's a good chance all of the information was not transmitted, thus the system did not receive it all and will treat it as missing too much information and will automatically send it to the Incomplete section.  I will never know about it.  Sue
