Animal Success Stories
Success Stories Operation Roger has had many happy endings from all the transports we have done. If you have a success story to tell us about a pet we have helped, please send an Email to operationroger01@yahoo.com and include a photo-we would love to share it with our visitors!The latest completed transport stories are found under Information/Success Stories. We will add the update on the pet in red below our story. The stories found here are listed by the latest completed transport number at top. If you know your pets transport number, you may quickly find it in this manner. All of these stories will eventually be segmented into groups of about twenty. This particular section you are reading now, located under Animals/Success Stories, lists the stories by the pet's transported alphabetical name. However, within the confines of each letter, the names may not be alphabetical. Confused? Don't worry. Scroll around and you will be able to locate your pet eventually. Sorry, but this is the result of the program, not us. If the pet’s name was changed enroute or at a later date, it will not show under the new name. If you remember the approximate date of the transport and can't find your pet's story, Email us that information and transport name. We will endeavor to find the story for you.  #242 CINNAMON (Pit) Mineral Wells, TX - Roseburg, OR CINNAMON #242, a 2 y/o 40# Female Pit was rescued from the Irving, TX, kill shelter and put into foster care in Mineral Wells, TX . Driver Nancy R picked up Cinnamon in Fort Worth, TX, from Ginger B of Tuckers Tag Along Rescue where she joined another transport, Colby # 241. The two got along until Colby's puppyness got too overwhelming and Cinnamon put him in his place. Nancy termed Cinnamon a sweety who only wanted to be loved. Now Cinnamon was headed for Roseburg, OR, but Nancy could only get her to Ripon, CA. Ginger found Krystal M who has developed a phenomenal group of volunteer shuttle drivers around the country. Through Krystal, Cinnamon transferred from an 18-wheeler to a series of 4-wheelers. We wish to acknowledge the following: Katrina M who picked up Cinnamon in Ripon and delivered her to Heather M in Woodland, CA, who overnighted her. Then it was on to Dusty B in Weed, CA, who in turn transported her on to Grants Pass, OR, to meet her new "Mom" Vicki H who happily took her on home to Roseburg. OR. Cinnamon was special in that she has had surgery to tumors due to too many shots in too short of a time span...and can expect more tumors.
