Success Stories
Operation Roger has had many happy endings from all the transports we have done. If you have a success story to tell us about a pet we have helped, please send an Email to operationroger01@yahoo.com and include a photo-we would love to share it with our visitors!
The latest completed transport stories are found under Information/Success Stories. We will add the update on the pet in red below our story. The stories found here are listed by the latest completed transport number at top. If you know your pets transport number, you may quickly find it in this manner. All of these stories will eventually be segmented into groups of about twenty.
This particular section you are reading now, located under Animals/Success Stories, lists the stories by the pet's transported alphabetical name. However, within the confines of each letter, the names may not be alphabetical. Confused? Don't worry. Scroll around and you will be able to locate your pet eventually. Sorry, but this is the result of the program, not us. If the pet’s name was changed enroute or at a later date, it will not show under the new name.
If you remember the approximate date of the transport and can't find your pet's story, Email us that information and transport name. We will endeavor to find the story for you.
We are always striving to improve our website. We hope you like what you see.
DEACON JONES #211 *
#211 DEACON JONES (Schnauzer X) Longview,TX-Woodstock,GA*
Deacon Jones #211, 1 year old, 28 pound Male Schnauzer/Cockapoo was picked up in Longview, TX, by driver Brian B and delivered to his new "Mom" Cindy in Atlanta, GA, the same day. Brian said Deacon Jones was a very mellow fellow for a pup who slept most of the way. Cindy then drove him on to Woodstock to his new home.

I tried to figure out how to do this on the site, but couldn't = so, could you please post my thank you in the appropriate section:I just received my little schnauzer mix puppy (Deacon) from Longview, Texas and wanted to say how pleased I am with ORs service, and by Brian, the truck driver who kindly brought Deacon to me in Atlanta, GA. I had considered driving all the way to Texas to pick up my rescue, but it was going to be a very long and expensive trip, because I wouldn't have been able to do it in one day. Flying him to Atlanta wasn't an option at this time of year due to the heat and humidity factors. Operation Roger to the rescue..
Brian B. was kind, professional and called me when he was on his way to let me know what time he'd be here, gave me perfect directions to the Pilot truck stop and was there exactly when he said he would be. This is such a great organization. Thanks to Classy Lady, and all the wonderful truckers along our highways for providing such a valuable and needed service. GOD BLESS YOU ALL!!!! Thanks... Cindy H.
